WWII German RAD Plaque with Work Log
Item: GM949

RAD plaque is in grey toned metal and measures 4 5/8" by 3 1/4". It features the national eagle with swastika with RAD insignia.  Below are the words "Arbeit adelt", which translates to, "Work is ennobling".  Plaque is mounted to darkened wooden base.  To the reverse is a metal frame with celluloid cover which holds original owner's work log.  Dates range from 1938 to 1944.  Unique find!
